Missing Travel

I haven't used this page since 2011, honestly I forgot I had it.  I can't imagine anyone follows it.   That being said here is a picture from the Bellagio during a trip to Vegas in Feb of 2019.   I wish I was there now.

also scored a free cup of coffee via tenka at Bourbon Coffee on 14th st. A fantastic little coffee house..very comfy spot to chill and chat with friends or just to read.

So it snowed...again....seems to be an interesting weather pattern we are gonna be stuck in for the rest of the season...

but at least it is pretty for a little while

FREE

Ok so my love/need for finding free food and entertainment is very high.

Today was another day of amazing deals thanks to a few sources.

First up another day spent with Tenka.com. This time just for lunch

Stopped over at the Daily Soup on 54th btw 7th and 8th. Now I admit this place is already a favorite of mine so I couldn't turn down a free soup.

Also note that soup sadly not the best photography subject but it was daaamn tasty



this was the Tomato Garden Veggie soup.



Next stop was to Borders. I heard they were doing a free cup of coffee if you show them that you downloaded the free Borders E-reader app. I never turn down a free cup of coffee lets be real especially Seattle's Best.




Finally my last deal was a free movie ticket that my mom got in a cereal box, which she mailed to me last week. Thank Mom!
(to be fair it wasn't completely free it only covered 12 dollars of the ticket so I had to drop a dollar..but I am ok with that.)



saw True Grit as you can see and it was well worth that dollar! Fantastic Film!!

Tenka

As you all know I am a big fan of free stuff especially free food so the discovery of Tenka.com this weekend has MADE me VERY HAPPY!

The goal of today was to get free food for every meal.... so I took some pics along the way of course :)

Started with a free bagel w. cream cheese and a coffee from Bagel & Bean (you can't go wrong with this combo!)




Then off to get lunch at Uncle Mario's ..which was a free slice of pizza (it was ok but better than my usual cheap 99 cent slice for sure!)




Finally after a few hours ushering at Spidey I headed over to City Sandwich for well.. a free sandwich...



if you happen to be wandering through Hells Kitchen I would recommend stopping in here. Now they run about 7-9 bucks a sandwich but you could tell the ingredients were pretty damn fresh. I had the one called Victoria (all of them are named after people involved in creating the store)
